7.27.15 - Cape Cod Museum of Natural History - Painting Nest Boxes (Birding Pop Up)
Brewster, MA

One of the thoughts I discuss in my Birdwatching For Beginners class is all of the ways in which birds influence & affect us.  They inspire us in countless ways... why not give back to them in the form of shelter?  Painting is messy and fun and unexpectedly relaxing.  This family oriented activity allows participants to spend an hour, outdoors under our tent for shelter, painting their own design on future treasures they can use to help the birds of the world

There are some proud faces on these bright young artists, who discussed birds, telling stories and asking questions... listening to Swan Lake for further inspiration.  Please admire their designs in the photos below (double-click photos to enlarge).

Next opportunity for painting nest boxes (Birding Pop Up): 8.17.15 at 11:30am
Fee: Admission wristband/ + $4/each nest box painted
Happy Birding!
