6.24.14 - Cape Cod Museum of Natural History - Tuesday Tweets
John Wing Trail - Brewster, MA

It seems like a long time since the last Tuesday Tweets entry.  I think the end of the school year affects us all, and as exciting as it is with summer taking over, it can be overwhelming.  The turn out on this particular Tuesday Tweets was overwhelming in a good way.  There was quite a crowd.  When that is the case, I never seem to get too many photos, due to great conversations with the bird lovers on the walk.  So - I wish there were more photos, but our list is IMPRESSIVE!  We were thankful for the sunny morning.  Thanks also to the KidSummer Counselors for joining in on Tuesday Tweets as well.

Our List:
Northern Cardinal
Song Sparrow
House Finch
Red-winged Blackbird
American Crow
Tree Swallow
Saltmarsh Sparrow
Black-capped Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
House Sparrow
Grey Catbird
Common Grackle
Brown-headed Cowbird
Red-tailed Hawk
Duck (American Black? Mallard?)
Can't forget the deer and fawn at the edge of the marsh...
I do believe the bird we could hear very well, but not see, was a Common Yellowthroat
