2.18.16  Bird Nerd Moment - Cape Cod Museum of Natural History
Brewster, MA

If/when you get a chance to visit the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster, something I fear you might miss, is the Naturescape Gallery, which is located on one of the walls of the auditorium, but you have to walk INTO the auditorium to actually see all of this beautiful work.  Yes, I'm obsessed with birds, no doubt.  I am equally obsessed with artwork created by youngsters. The artwork displayed this month & through March is from students at the Lighthouse Charter School in Harwich - a wonderful place!  I thoroughly can sense their innocence and purity reflected in their creations and honestly, I could look at them all day.  I really think they should have art museums dedicated to CHILDREN's ART!  It's AMAZING!  So - yes, I did focus on the bird art in this fine collection, but see it for yourself if you're able!  The museum is open these days from 11-3, Thurs-Sun, check the website for more details: www.ccmnh.org.  Please check out the photos of their stunning work below! (double click photos to enlarge) ENJOY!

HAPPY BIRDING!
